Pinner Residents To Quiz Planning Boss

Planning raises many concerns for local people, and is one of the most important areas dealt with by the Pinner Association. The Association is therefore delighted to welcome as guest speaker at its Annual General MeetingMr Stephen Kelly, Divisional Director – Planning at Harrow BoroughCouncil.Issues of concern are detailed below: Government’s current plans, which could allow neighbours’ light and•The privacy to be jeopardised by large new rear extensions, built without the need for planning permission grabs’, where new houses are shoe-horned into what were formerly•‘Garden gardens Does Harrow Council have the resources to police planning decisions,•Enforcement where these have been ignored, or permission not sought in the first place? Mr Kelly will address these and other issues raised at the meeting, which will take place in Pinner Village Hall, Chapel Lane, at 8.00pm on Wednesday 17 April 2013. It is open to anyone who lives or works in Pinner. Free of charge and no tickets required. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is also the chance for anyone to raise other issues for the Association, which represents local residents across a wide range of areas, including policing, health, transport and open spaces, as well as entertainment and community events such as the annual band concerts, and help with sponsoring Pinner Panto Evening. The Pinner Association is one of the largest amenity societies in the UK, with nearly 4,000 members. During the 9th – 21st March The Attic above Lines shop. hosted David Bays who has been an enthusiastic photographer for many years. This was his first exhibition resulting from this enthusiasm. The exhibition includes landscapes, landmarks, vivid florals and a series of photographs of local scenes, which were featured in Frustrated Communication's limited edition Pinner calendar.www.frustrated-communication.org.uk

Today Shu Shu held a fund-raising day in Pinner .The store had a full of of delicious cakes (to which I can testify having sampled some of them. They sold the cakes to raise money for this fab charity Comic Relief. Well done Shu Shu. They also have a fabulous range of shoes, bags and hats of course as you can see.
