Positive Election in Pinner - Norman Stevenson
Hello Pinner
The campaign to elect Harrow's new Council has started, with the election taking place on 7th May. The Conservatives took control in May 2022 and we hope to continue to do so with your support.
Do you remember back in 2022 - our Council was almost bankrupt. Harrow and Pinner had been neglected for years and people were generally very unhappy.
Here we are 4 years later and our focus on restoring pride in our Borough and Putting Residents First has been a great success. Of course we haven't sorted everything yet - there is still more to be done - but our achievements have even immense and residents have been appreciative.
Early on we brought in the one-hour free parking which has been warmly welcomed by residents and businesses here in Pinner. Labour has voted against this several times.
We have reopened the Council's dedicated phone line - yes, you can now actually speak to a real person
Many many roads and pavements have been repaired here in Pinner and throughout the Borough - there's a lot more to do and we plan to spend millions
We now have 8 Green Flag Parks including Pinner Memorial Park - this is more than Barnet, Brent and Hillingdon combined!!
Labour is threatening our greenbelt- we just adopted a new Local Plan to protect it
Fly-tipping is a scourge in Pinner and elsewhere. There has been an incredible 706% increase in prosecutions compared to when Labour were in power
I am honoured to have represented Pinner and to have been Portfolio Holder for Business, Employment and Property in the Borough. Please do vote to keep your Conservative Council here in Pinner on 7th May. We plan to continue to restore pride in Pinner for everyone!
Norman Stevenson
