On 28th February 2019 Friends, Pinner’s landmark AA Rosette Restaurant, hosted a display of art by members of the Pinner Sketch Club. The event celebrated the start of an ongoing collaboration between Pinner Sketch Club and Friends Restaurant to display and sell, drawings, paintings and sculptures from local artists. Following the event, work by Pinner Sketch Club members will be on permanent display with a new selection every three months. 

Faisal Ansari one of the owners of Friends Restaurant says; ’As an independent local restaurant, we wanted to use the historic setting of Friends provide space for local artists to showcase their work. This arrangement will benefit the community and provide additional enjoyment for our customers’.

Pinner Sketch Club formed in 1942 as the Pinner North Civil Defence Sketch Club. Members enjoy a lively programme of activities which include workshops, demonstrations and guest lectures.

Friends Restaurant is nestled in a 500 year old Tudor building on historic Pinner High Street. Friends has been awarded an AA Rosette for culinary excellence every year for the last 25 years. Friends serves the very best of British and French cuisine, created from the finest, seasonal and where possible, local ingredients. Stelian Scripcariu part owner and Head Chef of Friends has worked at the Dorchester Hotel, for Gordon Ramsay at Maze and Bearnard Louiseau.
