Totally Locally Pinner - Fiverfest 8th - 15th June
Great news! Pinner is joining in the National Fiver Fest 8th – 15th June to give local shoppers great bargains and showcase Pinner’s fabulous independent shops, restaurants and other businesses.
Local businesses have put together special £5 offers, just for the week, which highlight what they do every week of the year. The Fiver Fest promotes the ‘Totally Locally’ message that if every adult in Pinner spent just £5 a week with their local independent shops and businesses instead of online or at big chain stores, it would see around £3.1 million going directly into our local economy. Plus, on average each independent business has about 12 local suppliers who are also often independent, family-run businesses. So that £5 spend is re-spent locally as well. Small actions like this can make a huge impact in local areas creating jobs and a local community feel.
