A Huge Thank You to Pinner's Chemists
Throughout last year Angies' Chemist and Carter's Chemist have worked extremely hard to ensure that the community has remained healthy and cared for during the coronavirus pandemic. As a new year begins, the Pinner Local team would like to give a huge thank you to these businesses on behalf of the Pinner community for their continuous efforts. 

It is not surprising that those working in medical professions have been under a huge amount of pressure recently due to an increasing need for care. It is incredible that local healthcare services have managed to remain strong and reliable in these uncertain times. 

Both Angie's Chemist and Carter's Chemist have been faultless in maintaining community health over the past year. They have provided essential medical supplies including prescription delivery services to those who are most vulnerable. They have also continued to provide flu vaccination services and offer essential advice on a range of medical needs both online and in-store.

Additionally, they are not only highly regarded for their products and services but also for their attentive and friendly attitudes to everything that they do. Both Chemists continue to hold five star ratings online and are highly regarded in their community. 

Erin, a customer of Angies Chemist, stated, “I cannot fault Angie's. They go above and beyond every time. Lovely, friendly staff and they always manage to find me exactly what I need. I think that this pandemic has only proven how truly excellent and organised they are.”

To both chemists, the high quality service that they offer is simply part of their job. It is easy to take them for granted and forget how much hard work, coordination and empathy is required from these workers every day to help people get the high quality care that they need.

The delivery services offered by both chemists, in particular, have been highly utilised by vulnerable members of the community. It is vital that these people have safe access to medical care and can continue to feel as if they have a reliable support system in place. Over the lockdown, Carter’s chemist will be offering delivery, completely free of charge, to those who are shielding, elderly or vulnerable. 

One loyal customer of Carter’s chemist, Anthea, commented, “Carter’s is my go to chemist. You are never made to feel silly for your problems. They are a listening ear. They’re always well stocked and organised  and even when a product is unobtainable they manage to source an alternative. Their delivery services are vital and must be liberating for so many people who are unable to leave their homes.” 

As we enter the new year, the threat of coronavirus is still hugely present and these businesses will remain at the forefront of keeping Pinner safe. These chemists are highly appreciated by all and will forever continue to be one of the most vital services offered to the community.
