Can coloured lenses really make a difference to a person's vision?

Well, these images are representative of a real patient of mine, an 8 year old, and would indicate that absolutely yes!! Colour can help. 

Without glasses, her vision is super blurry and there was absolutely no prescription that helped.
We did the colorimetry assessment and found the best colour was this shade of blue.
