Artist of the week 28 May 2021
Eleanor writes about our Artist of The Week: Brian A Collins. He was brought up on the Kent coast where his love of painting arose. After retiring as an engineer he says that he had a choice between gardening, playing golf or painting. He chose painting, a hobby which he had always enjoyed but now had the time to pursue in depth. Dedicating his time to painting has allowed him to develop his skills and take part in clubs and art events. He is a President of Pinner Sketch Club as well as being a member Harrow Open Studios. Additionally, Brian became a member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists last year.
