Harrow based Teenagers reached semi finals of Britain's Got Talent

Harrow based Teenagers reached semi finals of Britain's Got Talent
IMD Legion reached the semi-finals and performed live on ITV on Britain’s Got Talent on Friday 3rd June.  Sadly despite their amazing performance they didn't make it to the live final which was held yesterday however it was an incredible achievement for them reaching the semi-finals and their families are so proud of them. Their families were there and the support within the Eventim Apollo was fantastic as the whole audience was rooting for them during their performance and gave a standing ovation after. This was followed by really positive comments by all of the judges. This is the link to their performance which includes the judges comments:...........................

The previous performance is at the link below.

Teenagers Meesha Garbett, 13, from Harrow, Kerri-Ann Morrison, 16, also from Harrow and Isaac
Ward, 15, from Hatch End scored four yeses from the Britain’s Got Talent judges performing as part
of urban dance crew IMD Legion, when they auditioned in the second episode of the ITV talent
show.
After reaching the semi-finals of the show back in 2015, IMD Legion hit the stage at the world
famous Palladium theatre with more than 30 dancers aged 11-35 to give a stunning performance
that Simon Cowell called “absolute perfection” and Aleesha Dixon said was “straight up dance
business.”
Meesha, Kerri-Ann and Isaac said of their BGT experience: “Performing at the Palladium in front of
the Britain’s Got Talent judges was exciting and scary, but we smashed our performance and when
the judges and audience gave us a standing ovation, it was quite overwhelming. We cannot wait to
find out if we’ve made the live semi-finals, but whatever the outcome it’s been an incredible
experience.”
IMD Legion founder and CEO, Omar Ansah-Awuah, added: “After spending almost two years in
lockdown, training remotely and missing out on many competitions and performances, it’s been
fantastic to come back and perform at the biggest competition there is, Britain’s Got Talent. After
missing out on a place in the final in 2015 by just a fraction of votes, our choreographers and
dancers have pushed themselves to the limits and worked tirelessly to be ready for this opportunity,
and we’ve returned stronger, cleaner, fitter and even more determined. We are grateful for all the
support we’ve already received and hope we can go all the way this time.”
As well as training and competing with IMD Legion in Newham, East London, Meesha, Kerri-Ann
and Isaac attend school and fit in other commitments.
With IMD Legion, they have performed all over the world, won numerous national,
European and World titles. Established by Omar Ansah-Awuah in 2010, IMD Legion now has over
70 members, and runs open classes weekly at Centre Stage in Stratford and Spotlight in Poplar. For
