There has been a dramatic reduction in Banks in Pinner where the population is well over 30,000 people.This is not a particular problem to younger members of the public who invariably bank online. However for the more mature it leaves just two choices if they need more than notes from an ATM. The Post Office located in W H Smith and heroic Building Society Nationwide who remain at the present time. (In addition Ruislip Currency within Lovi London does offer an excellent holiday money resource). This leaves people unable toe get coin cash easily or carry out more complicated transactions face to face. Businesses suffer in a number of ways too in obtaining change & as many retailers have said a dramatic drop in footfall, because in the past a trip to the Bank would often lead on to shopping in the local businesses near the banks. 

For those who do need  real local Banking facilities perhaps a switch to Nationwide might be helpul and possibly peruade their Headquarters to keep their slogan 'Here today, Here tomorrow' and maintain the Pinner branch.
