Pinner Sketch Club’s 69th Summer Art Exhibition opened at the weekend following a well attended Private View on Friday evening. Up to 200 invited guests and artists from across Harrow and beyond flocked to Pinner Parish Church Hall to enjoy a dazzling display of paintings and sculpture by Pinner Sketch Club’s many talented artists. Club Chairman and artist Dr Elizabeth James thanked the many members of Pinner Sketch Club who work so hard to stage this exciting annual art exhibition.
Guest Judge and distinguished artist Freda Anderson awarded the prestigious Kenneth Grimmett Award to Dow Pitchaiwatkomol from Harrow, for her oil painting ‘Poppies from the Garden’. Freda Anderson selected this painting because she said it had everything, showing skill in composition, colour, depth and atmosphere.
