Pinner Fair in Danger

It appears that there is a problem in finding funding for this years Pinner Fair. The Showmans Guild run it and received some financial support last year from the Council. It is believed they need sponsorship and unless this is found it could mean the end of a 700 year tradition. The fair is controversial as it is enjoyed by young people but does cause major disruption in the village and many shops have to close on the day.

Running the Marathon

This is Laura and Katie's first marathon and they are running for a great cause, Children in Crisis and also in memory of Laura’s brother Nick who was tragically killed in a climbing accident in Nicaragua 4 years ago. A Seven year old Reddiford School pupil passes GCSE with a B grade in ICT to become one of the youngest pupils in the country to achieve this result. It is believed he wants to become a future Prime Minister

Car park problems

The new Medical centre advances near to the Marks & Spencer car park but the lack of free parking is still a subject of concern for elderly patients. This has been a longstanding debate but no successful resolution seems possible.
