The Pinner Pantomime evening was an undeniable success last night with thousands crowding the streets of Pinner. Shop windows were dressed for the "Best Window Competition” and shop staff dressed to befit the occasion with numerous pantomime costumes for "Alice in Wonderland" to "Puss in Boots". The Phantom of the Opera was also seen lurking.The Mayor of the London Borough of Harrow judged the best dressed window competition and chose Gibbs Gillespie as the overall winner. This was the second year running that Gibbs had won a prize in the competition. The runners up were RSPCA with Lilly whites third. Very Highly comended were Oxfam and Highly commended were, Baker Pearce, Dining in Style and Rawlinson Gold. In the best dressed costume competition fist were Bodywise with Indiana Joanes, second Monkey Business and third Visage. Very Highly commended were Village Gallery with Puss in Boots and RSPCA.
