Gibbs Gillespie - Going for an unprecedented grand slam
Gibbs Gillespie has been shortlisted for four awards in a prestigious property industry competition
A local independent estate agency could make history next month after being shortlisted in four different categories in a leading property industry competition.
Gibbs Gillespie is in the finals of The Negotiator magazine’s contest which is held to highlight the best companies and individuals in estate agency.
The annual awards are organised by the publication which is widely regarded as the industry’s most popular and well-read magazine.
Gibbs Gillespie, which was founded in Ruislip in 1991, is on the shortlist for a Grand Slam of categories, they are: Best Estate Agent in the South East, Best Medium Sized Agent (3-11 offices), Best Medium Sized Letting Agent (3-11 offices) and Property Management Department of the Year.
Paul Gillespie said: “It’s fantastic to have made the shortlist in four different categories. It’s always a very tough competition to win, or even get shortlisted in, so to be involved across so many categories is a feat in itself.
“All of our teams across our network work really hard to ensure our clients are well looked after and being shortlisted is an external recognition of that.”
James Gibbs said: “It’s great news and really shows the commitment we have to client care and providing exceptional levels of service. Our emphasis is always on being professional and personal and that approach has served us, and our clients, very well over the 26 years we’ve been in business.”
If the agency wins all four categories it would be the first time this has ever happened at The Negotiator Awards.
The results will be announced by comedian Jimmy Carr at a ceremony held on Tuesday 31 October at the Park Lane Hilton in Mayfair.
