Car Fire at Pinner Pantomime 2017

Car Fire at Pinner Pantomime 2017
Report by Pantomime Committee
The 2017 Pinner Pantomime was an excellent evening apart from an ‘interlude’ for about an hour, when a vehicle caught fire by the Bus Stop opposite W H Smith in Bridge Street. The vehicle had simply overheated which ultimately caused the fire. It did not explode as reported on The Sun and other websites. The driver had just dropped off his Mother who was helping on one of the Charity Stalls. Thankfully, it was in a place where it could be contained and the joint Emergency Plan worked as intended in conjunction with the Police and the Fire Brigade. The event was fully back up and running after about an hour. Our thanks as an Organising Committee go out to our dedicated volunteer Stewards who were brilliant, Harrow Council, the London Fire Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service. Image from SNT Pinner
