Residents concerns on recent burglaries in Pinner
A recent spate of burglaries in the Pinner area has prompted residents to bring them to the attention of local MP for Pinner and North Ruislip Nick Hurd. The victims who were present at the meeting relayed their experiences, which included aggravated burglary whilst being present in their own homes. These robberies seem to have focused on a specific area of Pinner. The residents present felt that the local  police were not treating burglaries that seriously, and were playing the reduced resources card to close the case without doing full a investigation. Residents felt that this was the root cause for increased burglaries in Pinner and surrounding areas. Nick promised to review these individual cases with the Borough Commander, together with police resources available to monitor the affected area's in Pinner, and get back to residents.
