Ainsley Harriott is a great Friend of Friends and is joining us to draw our Valentines Day charity raffle on Feb 2nd!
St Valentines Day falls on Tuesday 14th February this year, and as usual, we are getting booked out very early, but this year we are holding one table back which we will raffle for Charity, (Kids can Achieve). (The draw will be made by Ainsley at Friends, on Thursday 2nd February at lunch time!) You can buy tickets at the restaurant, £5 for 5, even if you have already booked. The winner will also have a bottle of Champagne included with their St Valentine’s dinner for two.

Local Printmaking Classes - Mono Printing
Make prints using simple stencil shapes inked & layered on to a background plate.
This creative process involves simple printmaking techniques that combine drawing, painting and printmaking without extensive drawing skills.

Wonderful evening of dinner and dance
17th Feb 2012. The London - Hendon Leos Club are hosting a wonderful evening of dinner and dance at Premier House Banqueting (http://www.premierhousebanqueting.com) in Harrow Weald. All proceeds from this event are going to CAREducation Trust UK. Our objective is to raise as much money as possible for children around the world and give them an opportunity to improve their lives. Last year, our Leos Club funded two classrooms in Manali, for children living near the Himalayas. CAREducation UK strongly believe in equipping impoverished children with an education, to help give them the opportunity of a better life. It is their only escape from the cycle of illiteracy and poverty they are born into. Local Printmaking Classes 1 Day introduction to making & printing a collagraph plate
A Collagraph is a print making technique using a variety of materials including textured papers & wallpapers, string, glues & texture paints to make a plate,
which is then inked and printed on a traditional printing press.
