The Treasury Travellers
From Friday, January 31 there will be a lot of goings on and goings away from and to The Treasury. Sylvia, accompanied by Nicola, will be travelling through Laos and Cambodia for two weeks. Ostensibly studying the history and culture of the area, they will without doubt find themselves drawn irrevocably to the handicraft and artisans areas. Both countries are richly endowed with gemstones and precious metals so the two gemmologists will have to use their time well. Lynne will be in charge as always, and whenever the boss is away she likes to have a SALE. The SALE will run from Fri Jan 30 for two weeks. Nicola is going on to Singapore and we dont know when she will touch base .Just to make things really complicated, Theresa will be away for several weeks checking out the shopping in South Africa and Namibia. In spite of these perambulations and permutations we will have spectacular new jewellery designs on display in The Treasury from February 20 and we look forward to seeing you.

London Lite "Help at hand for Morris Dancers"
Following on from the BBC internet news site that reported Morris Dancing is under threat because of the age group of members. Harrow council has according to London Lite responded by agreeing to provide space for the local Merrydowners dancers and they will also publicise recruitment workshops. They go on to mention that the troupe performs at local events including those for St.Georges Day and we know that includes Pinner's special celebration. So good news all round.
