Pinner Rotary Haiti Appeal
|
|
Over the last couple of weeks the Rotary and Inner Wheel Clubs of Pinner together with family, friends and a few Rotarians from neighbouring Clubs raised money to help the victims of this disaster. This culminated in a two day collection outside Sainsbury’s Store in Barters Walk, Pinner. We would like to thank Sainsbury’s and their staff for their support and patience. These efforts, thanks to the phenomenal generosity of the people of Pinner, raised nearly £3,400. This includes over £300 in gift aid refunds due to the charity thanks to those who spared the time to provide the necessary information to Gift Aid their generous donations. “The response was truly overwhelming. Rotarian spokeperson David Bays the collection organiser said I have never seen such generosity from so many people”.
